How to Use Your BUPA Cover
Check Your Policy
Contact BUPA to confirm podiatry is covered under your plan. Check your excess amount and annual benefit limit. It is your responsibility to understand the terms of your policy.
Get Pre-Authorisation
Call BUPA on 0345 600 8822 and request pre-authorisation for an "initial podiatry assessment". You'll need to quote our clinic name: Lower Limb Clinic. BUPA will provide you with a pre-authorisation code.
Book Your Appointment
Book your appointment with us online or by phone. Let us know you'll be using BUPA insurance when booking.
Attend Your Appointment
Bring your BUPA membership number and pre-authorisation code. Any insurance excess applicable to your policy must be paid at the time of your visit.
We Handle the Rest
After your appointment, we'll submit the claim directly to BUPA on your behalf using the appropriate procedure codes.
Procedure Codes
The following procedure codes are used when submitting claims to BUPA. Your clinician will select the appropriate code based on your treatment.
