- Injury routing: foot, ankle and heel problems (heel pain, plantar fasciitis, Achilles, ankle sprains, shin splints, forefoot pain, bunions, flat feet, orthotic-related problems) book the Podiatry Injury Assessment. Back, hip, knee and whole-body problems (back pain, sciatica, neck and shoulder, hip and groin, knee injuries, muscle and tendon strains, return to sport) book the Physiotherapy Injury Assessment. Knee pain defaults to physiotherapy unless clearly driven by foot mechanics. Wrong-door promise: pick either assessment; if the problem belongs with the other clinician the clinic moves the patient across internally and never charges twice for the same assessment.
